Design Challenge
Metroflor Corporation is a leading provider of flooring including luxury vinyl tile and commercial resilient sheet flooring. For Surfaces 2013, Metroflor had a fixed budget, but a much larger booth space than their previously purchased exhibit could fill. Nimlok Chicago was challenged to design a large-scale booth solution that incorporated Metroflor’s current exhibit elements to save costs, and smoothly incorporate seven different brands. Most importantly, Metroflor wanted the design to segregate the brands without disrupting visitor traffic flow.

Design Solution
Nimlok Chicago designed an eye-catching and cost-effective 40’x50’ custom modular exhibit combining Metroflor’s existing booth with rental pieces for a completely new design. Some of the added components included conference and storage rooms as well as a demo space. The exhibit seamlessly showcased the seven Metroflor brands, creating a showroom atmosphere with a fluid and cohesive design.
