Client's Comments

"The Jack Daniel Distillery and Visitor Center is in Lynchburg, Tennessee about 75 miles from the Nashville airport. We approached Nimlok-Kentucky to help us develop a display for the airport that would increase awareness in the Nashville area for our visitor center. We chose Nimlok-Kentucky because of the relationship we developed with them in creating several Jack Daniel's branded bars in various large sporting arenas throughout the United States. Nimlok-Kentucky then handled the design, production and installation. Since installation, we have received rave reviews regarding the display's realistic and innovative design. We appreciate the professionalism Nimlok-Kentucky displayed during this project."

Design Challenge
Jack Daniel's wanted to create greater awareness for their Lynchburg, Tennessee Distillery and Visitor Center. The company needed a permanent booth design in the Nashville Tennessee airport. The display is installed in a small section of bag claim. The distillery is the oldest in the country and is a National Historic Site. Jack Daniel's wanted the exhibit design to be incredibly eye catching and use natural materials such as real wood whiskey barrels.

Design Solution
Exhibit designers created an exhibit with rough sawed wood to complement the whiskey barrels and give the display a natural look. It was important for the exhibit to be durable as it was close to the baggage claim area. Graphics including maps where the distillery is located where incorporated. All the graphics were printed directly onto the wood to continue the natural feel and match the same atmosphere as the visitor center. The exhibit was installed at 11:00 pm to minimize airport disruption.
