Design Challenge
Recognized as a leader in cargo and load handling solutions, Hiab provides a range of on-road loading equipment. Their products include cranes, truck-mounted forklifts and tail lifts. Hiab wanted an updated exhibit solution that conveyed their recent rebranding. Hiab also desired a range of exhibit solutions scalable from a 20’ x 50’ space to a 20’ x 30’ and a 20’ x 20’ size exhibit space.
Design Solution
2-Scale, a Toledo, Ohio-based authorized Nimlok Distributor, worked closely with Hiab to create a series of tension fabric and custom modular exhibit solutions that satisfied Hiab’s design needs. Hiab’s logo was displayed throughout the exhibit, most prominently on two large square-shape fabric hanging signs. The 20’ x 30’ and 20’ x 20’ setups utilized a space-smart layout that featured products at the flanks of the central kiosk and a custom-built wooden counter space, which could double as a storage unit. The Hiab exhibit project was a great success, winning the “Best Booth Award” at the Lumber and Building Materials Expo for the 20’ x 50’ configuration. Hiab is also working with Nimlok to create new exhibit solutions for future events.
