Nimlok is proud to be a part of a select group of printers throughout the world that can produce consistent, high quality graphics with accurate color to the G7® Master Print specification. G7 specifies the components of an image that define a similar “visual appearance” to the human eye.

Established by the Print Properties and Colorimetrics Working Group of IDEAlliance, here is the G7 specification:

• Defines a color metric definition for gray balance
• Specifies gray balance in the midtones and image contrast from the highlights to the shadows
• Defines the ideal colorimetric black and CMY gray-tone curves for an image
• Specifies a step-by-step method for calibrating proofing systems and printers to these tone curves

While G7 has been widely used and respected in the commercial printing field, it is fairly new to the inkjet industry. With over 10 state-of-the-art printers, Nimlok is excited to pioneer the trade show industry towards standardizing this G7 certification, providing the highest quality, consistent and accurate color graphics for all of our custom and fast solutions portable modular products.
