Image & Design: Educate Attendees and Gain Visibility By Hosting a Mini Seminar

Mini-seminars are a great way to draw attention to your company and develop valuable business relationships, weather in your trade show booth or in a conference room.

Presenting a mini-seminar takes planning. Most show organizers offer meeting or conference rooms for a price. But before you sign on the dotted line, check for the following:

  1. How large is the room?
  2. Will it accommodate tables, chairs, and/or a podium?
  3. Can you control the temperature?
  4. Can you control the lighting?
  5. Do columns, low ceilings, or partitions obscure the view of your speaker?
  6. Do the windows have blinds?
  7. Is the room situated on a noisy street?
  8. Is the room right next to the kitchen (or worse!) parking lot?
  9. Are tables and chairs provided with the room or will you have to rent them?
  10. What is the legal room capacity?

Take the time to speak with the venue staff. That way you’ll avoid any unpleasant last-minute surprises.
