Image & Design: Educate Attendees and Gain Visibility By Hosting a Mini Seminar
Mini-seminars are a great way to draw attention to your company and develop valuable business relationships, weather in your trade show booth or in a conference room.
Presenting a mini-seminar takes planning. Most show organizers offer meeting or conference rooms for a price. But before you sign on the dotted line, check for the following:
- How large is the room?
- Will it accommodate tables, chairs, and/or a podium?
- Can you control the temperature?
- Can you control the lighting?
- Do columns, low ceilings, or partitions obscure the view of your speaker?
- Do the windows have blinds?
- Is the room situated on a noisy street?
- Is the room right next to the kitchen (or worse!) parking lot?
- Are tables and chairs provided with the room or will you have to rent them?
- What is the legal room capacity?
Take the time to speak with the venue staff. That way you’ll avoid any unpleasant last-minute surprises.
